Important Dates & Practical informations

Information for oral and poster presentations:

Oral presentations are 15 min with questions. The presentation will be provided in pdf format at the conference to the team at the start of each half-day.

Poster size is A0 in portrait format (118 cm length (vertical) x 84 cm width (horizontal)). Posters will be displayed one day during the congress.

Session 1: Wednesday afternoon to Thursday afternoon

Session 2: Thursday afternoon to Friday afternoon

- During the congress, tram tickets for the 3-day congress will be given to you on arrival.
- We want our congress to be as eco-responsible as possible, so we've decided to replace usual goodies by offering entries to the Bordeaux Natural History Museum/Botanical Garden (valuable 1 year). There's a superb exhibition on botanica illustration, where the border between science and art vanish (https://www.museum-bordeaux.fr/).

- Don’t forget to come with your own pen, notebook and collar for the badge.

- A room will be dedicated to store your luggage the first and the last days of the congress

Registration opens: February 1, 2024

Early registration closes: March 30, 2024

Registration deadline: May 13, 2024 - extended to May 21

Registration includes conference registration, lunches, Thusday evening gala evening and SFBV membership for one year (2024) if a member rate is used.

SFVB Membership for 2 or 5 years can be made here.

Cancellation:

All cancellations must be notified by e-mail to com-lbm@u-bordeaux.fr, at least 30 days before the start date of the scientific event. A cancellation fee of 30% will be charged. Registration fees for cancellations made less than 30 days before the start of the scientific event will not be reimbursed. In the event of non-payment of sums due at the time of cancellation, these fees remain due.
